Oklahoma Collection Agency

Accounts Adjustment Bureau or AAB has been providing commercial debt services since 1973. AAB is an OK or Oklahoma Collection Agency and we provide commercial debt services for Clients and against debtors in Oklahoma. Consider AAB when choosing an Oklahoma collection agency.

Oklahoma has two usury caps. When a consumer or personal loan is made from one individual to another, the usury limitation on that loan may not exceed 10%. Interest rates can exceed 10%. In the case of commercial or non-consumer loans, the interest rate cap is set at 45% per annum. There is an exception on the consumer end when a personal loan is made to an individual from another individual that is duly licensed by Oklahoma to make personal loans. In any case, it is wise to choose a detail oriented agency when selecting an Oklahoma collection agency.

Time can be sensitive for an Oklahoma collection agency. The Statute of Limitations in Oklahoma on oral debt is only 3 years and 5 years for a written contract. After the applicable 3 or 5 years, commercial debt cannot be pursued in the Oklahoma courts by an Oklahoma collection agency.

Below is some summary information on Oklahoma Collection Agency regulations and laws to consider that will affect an Oklahoma collection agency. These points should be considered when placing commercial debt for collection with an Oklahoma collection agency.
