Florida Legal Rate: Same as Judgment Rate without a contract for rate

Contract Rate: 18% loans up to 500K – 25% on loans over 500K
Corporate Rate: No special rate
Judgment: 400 basis points above yearly average Federal Reserve Discount Rate
Usury % Cap: Same as above

Bad or NSF Check collection charges in Florida


Florida requires a 30 Day written demand notice. If not paid then the Debtor is liable for the three times the face amount of the check and court costs, reasonable attorney fees and any bank fees.
